Programa de Pós-Graduação em Biotecnologia

Admission to the Program

Admission to the Graduate Program in Biotechnology, at both the Master's and Doctoral levels, occurs through a selection process governed by a public notice issued by the Dean of Research and Graduate Studies. The selection process is competitive and merit-based, and it is conducted by the Selection Committee. The available scholarships are distributed according to the classification in the selection process.

The Program's official webpage will be updated with the open call for applications for the Master's or Doctorate whenever these are available.

Prospective applicants must have an advisor who has agreed to supervise them. Therefore, it is advisable to establish contact with scholars who are engaged in research related to one's own field of interest, with the aim of exploring potential collaborative opportunities for research projects and scholarly publications.

Application Fee

A non-refundable application fee is required to participate in the selection process. The value of the registration fee is disclosed along with the public notice.
