Candidates to the Program, as regular or irregular students are selected according to the rules established in specific official notices issued by the Vice-Presidency of Research and Postgraduate Studies (Pró-Reitoria de Pesquisa e Pós-Graduação).
The selection process for admission of regular students takes place annually and is regulated by an Official Notice published on the Program page. It is done by classification, and it is conducted by the Selection Committee appointed by the Program Board.
The selection process for admission of irregular students takes place twice a year, also by publication of the Official Notice of the Vice-Presidency of Research and Postgraduate studies, enabling the student to take disciplines in the course, to the limit of 1/3 the total number of credits offered in the Program. The students who pass the selection process for regular students may ask to have the disciplines they have taken as irregular students acknowledged and counted.
