With an area of concentration in Quality and Production Management, this Master Program has a wide scope for acting; it approaches issues related to systems of production of goods and services, both in the perspective of the process (production system flow management) and in the decision-making level (strategic/tactic/operational), or even in themes related to value added by these systems (quality, efficiency and effectivity). The area of concentration is structured in two lines of research.
It approaches solution of decision-making problems or of management at tactic-operational level, through quantitative or qualitative-quantitative, static or dynamic, uni or multivariate, deterministic or probabilistic methods.
It concentrates interests related to strategic-tactic or long-term decision-making, in which uncertainty or characteristics of scope go beyond the capacity of purely quantitative, requiring other decision-making and quality and production management methods.
